even though you bought a new harness doesn't mean it will work. 1st - check your wiring again, if they did or you did a dpfi to mpfi make sure its correct. 2nd -main relay. 3rd - fuel pump. 4th - injectors.
yea fuel pump is a walbro works fine, forgot to put on the injector seal one day and i pumped about a gallon in a second lol, but the injectors i have 2 sets ive switched and switched but nothing as far as the wiring its getting there im checking it wire by wire i was wondering what this white and red wire at the ecu no other ef has it but this one and its not on the wiring diagram
ok, i ran into another problem i started it, ran a little and cut off now im not getting anything again. the ecu blinked when it came on like it is suposed to but if i crank it for like 5 to 10 seconds the computer led comes on and stay on ive heard that that calles for a new ecu but i put it in my dohc zc and it started right up, what is going on?, and on both cars its trowing a code 4 and 9 i dont get it
I had this problem with my b20 swap into 89 hatch. It ended up being a ground wire on the back side of the motor under the intake manifold on the intake side. I got it to start sometimes and would drive it, but with the vibrations it lost connection and the car died. Be sure to check all your grounds, it may just be a bad ground. Good luck
