after driving a brand new si 4 door, i was utterly dissapointed as my 97 boosted d16 w/ koni/gc combo is more fun to drive, just not as nice .. obviously b/c of the newness.
anyway i want a new car and i cant decide. right now i'm between a 335i, id lease, a used s2k, i'd just buy, or maybe a 350/70z ... i just cant decide
id love to get the s2k to tune and drive in, but its not very practical as a DD since theres only 2 seats, and i dunno about trunk space
so for those of u that do DD ur s2k how is it?

And even that person gets yelled at for asking this question.

the s200 wont be must faster then the new si. you will really be disipointed in the power. it does seem you like power. 335 would probably be best for you.
a turbo S2k will be way more fun than a boosted d16 civic... feels way more stable too at higher speeds. trunk space may be an issue if you lug stuff around but it was fine for me. 2seater worked out for me too since i don't like driving people home. the softop dealie is the biggest one IMO, hardtop FTW.
i DD my s2k and its fine... i stopped lugging people around in my WRX back in highschool.. and if we need to go somewhere, all my friends have bigger cars.. so its all good
also, an s2k will destroy the new si

a s2k as a dd is crazy on your pocket as far as gas. If you step on the pedal or not.gas runs out the same amount of time.....
But the s2k is definitely a head turner its been out for 9 years now and people still stop and ask me "what kind of car is that"

wow - could that be anymore wrong? - this car is incredibly economical for what it is. maybe there's a problem with your car dude, or you have a heavy right foot.
actually that statement is quiet true
as far as any problems with my car their is none
I hardly press my car and the gas goes down before you know it
some cars could stay on full tank of gas
not a s2000
most people i know that has a s2000 feels the same way

Even on the highway gas mileage isn't that great. But that's probably not a concern for most people in the market for a 2 seater sports car. I would go with bmw.
^^ finally someone that agree with me
im trying to sell mine and go into the subie world.because i had this car as a dd and its starting to feel to small for me
but to each its own

It has a small capacity tank........
When you push the gas pedal most cars use gas

I average 24-28 for city and highway combined. I really do not think that is too horrible.
That said, I get around 20mpg. Considering that I floor/ red line it every opportunity I get, I can't really complain.
