Did a search, and nothing came up.

I sent out my flywheel to be resurfaced, I've got CM stage IV pressure plate, disc, throwout bearing, and, pilot bearing. When I went to the Acura parts yesterday to buy MTL, the parts guy said I need 3 bottles if I drain an ITR tranny, but I could of sworn it was 2 bottles. I got 3 bottles and asked him about lubing the LSD, he said that their is no LSD grease available. IS that true? Thanks in advance guys, this is my first time tearing my tranny down so I need the answers to these questions.

You will need 3 quarts for the tranny. You don't need any grease for the tranny. If you want to be ****, you can use assembly lube if you are reassembling it. But that may contaminate the oil. That may affect your shift quality.

 

you need 3, but you shouldn't need to use all 3...it's slightly more than 2

 

no grease on that LSD !
it sits in the tranny, and is bathed in tranny fluid so that is why you dont need no stinkin' grease.

I really need to get up off my *** and change my Tranny Fluid. Ive had the MTL sitting in my room for over 3 months.

 

its like 2.3 and One thing be sure the car is level.
