Mickey thompson et street tires
Just trying to get a idea of what type of mileage you guys were getting out of these tires on the street. Car is not daily driven and is making 390 to the wheels. Thanks.
ive had mine on my car for about 3 months now i guess. its not daily driven just a weekend warrior thats driven to the track basically. theyre starting to get quite a bit of wear and they've prolly got about 20 passes on them or so. and thats with a 2nd gear burnout everytime. but i cut 1.9 60 fts and ive been 11.50 at 127 on them. with 460ish hp
Definitely wouldn't recommend for street use - they are quite soft and get torn up really easily!
The set used on my buddy's Tigra for racing lasted just over 2 months - done a good 60-80 runs up the strip though with some pretty phenomenal burnouts... the only time they were used on the road they seemed to grain quite a lot - took a lot of life out of them!
Keep them for strip use

I've got 5000 miles on mine, still driving on them, and I drag race it regularly with some pretty big burn outs.
When they are new, they are actually really good in the rain, now that they are down to the wear indicators, it's a bit scary if the roads are wet.
They are a great tire for a street/strip car, where you don't want to have to swap tires every time you go to the track.
