AEM Fuel Rail Leak - Coming from 1/8 NPT plug
I recently found out why I'm using so much gas.. Fuel is literally dripping from the 1/8 NPT screw plug on the fuel rail.

I tightened it earlier, but fuel is still seeping through the threads.
I know Teflon tape will get eaten away by the gas, and other sealants will too. Is there a sealant/gasket medium that I can use for this? I was getting about 35mpg hwy, now with this leak I'm getting like 22mpg.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

ther are fuel type teflon tapes and sealants and they can be had at any local auto parts store. I personally have never had any of my teflon tape fail and I know its the run of the mill Lowe's/ Home Depot style teflon tape. Start your tape edge one full thread from where the fuel will contact it and tighten it up. You are over thinking the problem.
I contacted AEM and they suggested teflon tape. I know from experience thougn that it can/will break down with some fuels and solvents. I'll try teflon tape, if not I'll search AutoZone for some thing.
Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the help.
I ran teflon on mine for several years never had a problem but id suggest redoing it every soo often if your afraid of it breaking down.
