which would be a better motor to build. Homie hit me up on a k20z wants 3g's for it but i want more power than the stock ep motor.

I'm looking at the same motor (in Seattle haha) and the K20Z3 would definitely be an upgrade. IMO though, I think the K24 would be a better motor to build. I would rather do a K20/K24 frankenstein. There's no replacement for displacement yah dig...

ive been getting alot of customers asking about 24 swaps, and see them prolly being the most popular build right now, the extra displacement really helps, ide do that.. or a j swap.... tee hee.

a k20/24 frank would hold alot of power! BOOSTED! a stock k24a1 block and hold 450+hp with no problem. guaridan on ephatch has proved this along with some others granted that they upgraded some of the parts but the block(k24a1) is basically stock!

if i were you i woould go with the k24a1 motor =1300 from papi on ephatch

then find a a2 head = 400 dollars maybe, not sure

other essential items = 1000

total = 2700 to spend on a boost happy 450+hp havin sick motor!!

thats my plan for the spring 2010!

k20z3 for bolt on powers. K24a for big power. Anything better then the k20a3.
