Ok..i got a jdm b16 trans with lsd out of a 92-95 sir2, but it has a cracked case...can i switch all the internals to the ls case or will it not work?

 

it will work, i have personally done it. you will need to modify the inside of the case where the differential sits. There are tabs that will interfere with the slightly larger diameter ring gear of the b16 diff. just grind them down until they fit. and deffinetely make sure you clean out all the shavings, spray it out with degreaser, brake cleaner, water, and compressed air. once you believe its clean enough, clean it once more.
