Well I did it now!...Doing a swap from a 92 H23 with JDM pistons To a 01 H22a4....But here is the catch. The reason why i am selling my h23..one of the jdm pistons actually melted...#3..I have never seen this happen. Even my Mechanic was stumbed..So the head is perfect. Crank is good. Everything is good but the block. Have a nik. Selling as is or in parts...

 

how much you want for the crank?

 

I'll trade you a cold air intake for it...I'll pick it up next weekend in toronto. Or how much do you want for it?

JDM pistons? what kind are these? Has the block already been honed??

your piston melted due to detonation, you probably ran lean in cyl #3 therefore melting the piston. you might have damaged the cylinder walls also. you cant hone out stock cyl walls so if you scarred that cyl wall bad the block is pretty much useless unless someone wants to resleeve the block.
