I went to auto zone to get a headgasket for the D16z6 motor, but on the cover of the package it's only for the D16y5 D16y7 D16y8. The guy said that the head gasket well fit my motor. Is it true. Here is a pic of the head gasket package cover.

 

Yep, same thing. Will work just fine

Just for reference, I've used this same headgasket on two different z6's and not had a problem.

 

Extra information is always helpful. So today I had the time to snoop around the headgasket set package and I saw this...



It's just weird how on the headgasket set cover it didn't have the engine code D16z6 but on the headgasket package it did have the engine code D16z6.
