2001 CRV - General Questions/Thoughts
I am an accord guy and I am going to get another 2-3K honda to drive around. I do a lot of driving for my job and 2-3K hondas drive as well for me as new ones, and they don't hurt as much when the wear out. My current accord has 325K and going strong.
Can I expect a CRV to be as reliable as the accord? Any huge issues with these things? I can fix anything on my accord including the auto transaxle, timing belt, etc... is there anything on the CRV more complicated?
The CRV is appealing because of the room and my kids are getting older and have more gear.
Also, what kind of mileage are you all getting with your CRVs?
Thanks for any thoughts or input. If the CRV is not worth it, then I will just get another accord.

they are great, if you get a gen 1 you need to do the valve adjustments every 30k, and change the rear diff fluid with only honda dual pump fluid, other than that its a big civic.
