question about brake lines

Default question about brake lines

i have a 97 dx coupe with 93 teg ls rear discs and i want to order steel braided lines....can i order lines for an si? and will they work or will i have to order 2 seperate sets??

Yup. Just order lines for a 99-00 Si and you'll be fine.

Agreed, I used these on my hatch and old sedan and they worked fine.

sooo i ordered braided lines for a si and the ends to the calipers dont fit

go to napa see if the have any brake line adapters or fittings that will work

If it's a street vehicle, find someone who makes the lines with a protective coating over the stainless braid. If you get the normal ones, dirt will get between the Teflon (PTFE) inner core and the stainless and it will wear the core out and you'll get leaks and probably careen off a cliff and land on a bunch of puppies and kittens, killing them all...because you decided to cheap out on brake lines.

Stoptech makes some, but there are others out there also and I'm in no way endorsing or knocking stoptech.
