well, first, fill up the coolant... if oyu dont have any coolant available right now, the most important thing is water so put in some water until you CAN get coolant.
also, at first glance i thought it said "coolent leaking on me leg"

just pour some water in the there. it won't hurt. all the antifreeze does is raise the boiling point of the water, so that it doesn't evaporate. so the water will evaporate, but it's better than running with nothing in there at all. then you can go tot he store
not sure which hose ur talkin bout but make sure all the fittings are snug... u might have messed the coolant hoses that lead to the bottom of teh throttle body. Or torn them. But yea.. put some water in teh coolant tank and u should be alright to drive... butkeep an eye on the temp guage, if it goes up too high then don't drive.. u don't wanna overheat and blow a head gasket.
The hose you are speaking of is the Heater Core hose from the thermostat housing to the heater core.
Drain your coolant, take off the hose and get a new one (which will cost you about 5 bucks), and get yourself some coolant, and you are done.

as for the system needing to be drained, if there was stuff leaking out of that hole, the system is already drained

does any one know if that piece of ac line is the same in 5th gen hatches? i just pulled the a/c from my hatch and still have all the lines, i would be happy to send you it for like $20 us if it is the same, then you can just put it on your self and then take the car someplace to have the system charged, it should be alot cheeper then both of the other options
