Default sir headlights???

ok so today to work a cop pulled a out in front of me no big deal. well it was still dusk so i had my headlights on (sir headlights with 8k hid) then he pulls in the next lane and stops. he points next to his car wanting me to stop so i did. i pulled up and said yes sir whats the problem he said you need to dim your lights.... lol i was like they are dim. he then got pissed and said well they are blinding me you need to cut them off or your gonna get a ticket....so i turned them off.. dam cops...

so i tried adjusting my headlights when i got to work but when i turned the adjuster nothing happened any input??? their about 2 years old do i need to spray the adjusters with silicone spray??

thanks for the input

what do you mean nothing happened.... put your car 20 feet from a wall,a nd move the adjuster.

**keep in mind your using JDm / UKDM lights with a different beam pattern! they are not US spec so the beam shoots out of the lamp differently. i wouldnt expect it to get much better, just aim them as low as possible to avoid further confrontation... and gte rid of the 8k's for 6k's... it will draw less attention not having stupid blue ricer headlights lol....

your problem is the headlight it self. 96-00 headlights with hids are impossible to aim.
they throw so much freaking glare. at least mine do.

i was able to get my passanger down far enough that im not blinding any one but my driverside need to come down also..
just aim thm down as far as you can, they sometimes take a second for the level to move, but if my egay lights will i have no idea why yours wouldnt,

EDIT- where is the bubble on the level inside the light?? it may be as low as it can go.

they dont have hid projjectors.
only the low beam the high beam is just a reg head light the throw light everywhere.
retro is the only way to do a proper hid system head to lighting forumns and look at what people have done.
youll want tl,tsx,s2k ect. stock integra lights wont cut it,

This sounds about right.

Sounds to me like you're using illegal headlights. HID bulbs DO NOT PROPERLY retrofit into regular halogen bulb headlight assemblies. You're scattering blinding light everywhere and posing a threat to yourself and other drivers. One of these days you're going to blind an old grandad and he's going to veer off into your lane and your precious Honda will be no match for his rusty old boat of a Buick. OK, rant over.

For real, though, for the love of safety, don't use HIDs unless you get a whole kit with the proper headlight casing assembly for HIDs. Read more here: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...nversions.html
