It's about time to perform a major tune up in 2001 Honda Civic LX Sedan MT. I am planning to do it myself but I need some feedback about the best parts and name brands around. I'm only looking for good quality parts since my car has almost 227k miles on it, so I only want the best stuff. What do you use on your car? any good or bad experiences with certain brands or parts? what other service, besides the ones on the list, do you recommend me to do? keep in mind, I don't race my car. It is my daily driving car which takes me from home, work, and school. Frequently stopping and accelerating. What do you guys think?

• Throughout Inspection (AC, brakes, hoses, fuel lines, exhaust system, suspension, tie rod ends, driveshaft boots, timing idle, lights, underbody, etc.)
• Engine oil change and air/filter change
• Tire rotation
• Lubricate all hinges, locks, and latches
• Replace air cleaner
• Check and adjust valve clearance, cold engine, if noisy
• Replace air conditioning filter
• Replace Cabin filters
• Inspect and adjust drive belts
• Replace transmission /brake fluid
• Replace spark plugs
• Replace engine coolant

*Timing belt and water pump has already been changed. I got this list from the manual. Thanks for your feedback and support.
