okay so i got a 92 civic cx that had a mini me motor in it but the valves were shot so i got a new motor its just a stock d15b7 and it never did it before but when i let the clutch out enought to where it starts pulling and push the gas down it revs up and down really fast doesnt do it any other time only when the clutch is almost engaged..... any ideas of what it could be?

 

thats some weird **** lol. have you checked all ur vacuum lines?

 

yea i checked all the vacuum lines and none are missing or broke they're new hoses and all hooked up..... it was also odd because the engine light came on after i put the motor in and it says the idle air control valve went out...... so i put a new one on it and the engine light still says it doesnt work.......

 

check the wiring. if you have a multimeter you can use it to check continuity. But your problem can def be a IACV problem.

 

yea..... i double checkd the wires teh other day and they're all hooked up right .. so i dont know what to do lol
