I bought the repair manual but it shows to remove the bolt from the rear of the front fork but there is no such bolt on on the back side of the front fork , just a bump where it should be!! Anyone knows what going on here? I did find an 8mm bolt in the bottom of the shock but it just spun and did not come out. It was tight but after a dozen turns it got easier but while turning I could here something inside the fork tube turning along with it.

 

What are you trying to take off? the wheel? When I change my fork oil, I just loose the caps at the top, remove the forks from the bike and drain.

 

Just wanted to change fork oil but on all my past bikes they had a drain plug. I guess this one does not! So I will pull off the forks.
