I don't know what the sound is. I just started all of a sudden. It happens when I go over speedbumps or up my driveway. It sounds like its coming from the rear. The front goes over a speedbump, then when the rear goes over, I hear a sqeeking noise as the right rear wheel goes over the bump.
haven't heard this on my R, although now i'm going to listen for it.. my old si did this when the bushings on the sway bar were shot.. i ordered a set of comptech bushings and it was all taken care of.. this might be something to check out, at least to start with.. maybe that's all it will be - something simple..
suspension arm bushing?
shock/spring issue?
swaybar bushing?
most likely a swaybar bushing at the endlink or D bracket... you can remove the bar and lube up the bushing with poly lube, then reinstall the swaybar.
your best bet is to get under there and make sure you dont see any parts that show signs of wear from contact / rubbing other parts.
