is there a way to put prelude fog lights on a 91 honda civic ef hatch?
with a 91 front bumper.

I've only done it on my 89 Bumper.
I say you just replace your 91 with a 88-89

i still have to do it to my car to, im just going to make my own brackets, im thinking you can find some things at a westlake hardware. the have a lot of random things, im sure it would be better than zip ties lol.,

and for you crx_si-r, i have a ?, i have 89 prelude fogs which i heard that are almost identical to ef9, ef8 fogs, and i have the ef9 front end and my bumper has the round fog holes and it has the outline, do i cut the outline? and will it fit perfect?

yup jdm bumber comes wit the holes to cut.

 

If it has two outlines make sure it says stanley on it.
USDM Bumpers have two outlines one says Stanley, and the other says Bosch not sure if JDM ones are the same but the round fog outlines are for SIR Fogs.
The prelude fogs resemble the JDM in outside looks, but the back is totally different.

 

the round holes are already cut, im talking about the other hole, which its a rectangle.. all im worried about is the size, i dont want the hole to be bigger than the fog, i want it to be flush.im just really wondering if the ef9/ef8, fogs are bigger than 89 prelude ones.

 

So the question is, "can anybody explain how to install prelude fog lights on the ef??"
DIAGRAMS or pictures of "how to" would help!!

 

yeha dude their is an outline in the bumper just use that cut out
then cut two holes on the bumper support and bolt it on
i just did it to my car right now..came out pretty coo
i'll post pics of the build tomorrow

 

on my moms 91 hatch bumper, it has the outline to cut it, just gotta get creative to mount the fogs
