i was at a local dealership the other day and i saw a 2002 honda civic si for sale.

Specs:
120k
5speed
Black
Fully loaded
Brand New Michelin Tires
1.7L Vtec Sohc Engine
Rebuilt Title
For $6000CAD

Lets just say for a fact that i know it was in a accident the front bumper and the left head light were changed no damage to the engine at all everything on the car is original but bumper n headlight.

i was just wondering if this rebuilt title thing is a concern? please help me out i am headed to the dealership soon and just need some tips.

 

I wouldn't worry too much about the rebuilt title. It just means you'll pay less for it, and you'll get less for it when it comes time to resell.

However, the price seems a bit high considering the mileage and rebuilt title. Of course, I'm speaking from U.S. experience.

02 si with 120,000 km's is worth about 6500-7500.
rebuilt title? was it certified by Honda Canada? it should have been.
anyway $6000 is a fair price.

 

the 02 si in canada is different from the one in the states im pretty sure si=ex

 

your right, and i thought someone had already said that in here, i guess it was deleted.
But yes the SI in canada is the same as the EX in the US, the SI in the US is the same as our SI-R(the mini-minivan )
