Icon2 Horn Issues

K so this a question for those of you who know more about the wiring than i do. my horn on my 1994 Honda Civic Si is not working i replaced the fuse under the hood cause it was burnt out and took apart the steering wheel and reconnected one of the buttons cause i dont need two (had none) i tried it and it still doesn't work. so does that just leave me with a broken horn or are there any other possibilities?

ok why dont you start from the begining... why did you take apart your horn buttons?? and did it stop working before or after that?

check the horn itself to see if it's working

no they came like that. i just got the car and it needs to be driven but not daily so inspection needs a working horn so since they were out. i went and got new wires and such and reconnected them. and changed the fuse.

@ hard_boiled_EG :
where is the horn located and is there a volt meter test that can give me an idea of the condition of my horn cause i think the horn was working not too long ago. but the horn it's self is as old as the car which is 200,000 miles.

oH RLY????

most sensors are not 12 volts.... just thought id correct

by the way i have my horn hardwired to a foot switch near my dead pedal since i have an FD2 steering wheel. maybe just hardwire your horn right from your horn to a switch... that will eliminate any problem lol

I stand corrected, lol. and also a lot of times like he said it's just easier to re-wire the whole thing to a new switch.
