Default Can I run this in ITA?

I just bought a home blocks from waterford hills here in michigan. Over the next couple years I am planning to run some HPDE days and eventually get into the series that they have. I haven't been able to find a clear answer as to if my car is legal because of the chassis.

I have a 91 standard hatchback that has been fully swapped with everything from a 91 si. The only thing left from the standard is the chassis. Engine wise it is 100% stock A6. Will I be able to run that engine and chassis combo? All I see listed in the GCR is the 88-91 Si. Will my combo be excepted as that?

Thanks
Pat

Karl is right. But EVERYTHING has to be swapped over. There are some stupid little differences, just be aware of them.

The only thing that I can think of that didn't come out of the Si was the sunroof. Everything else did, suspension at both ends, full wiring harness, drivetrain, brakes, interior, etc. What might those stupid little things be that I can't think of?

sunroof is not an issue as it has to be filled anyways, but little things like, rear wiper, wing or possibly the steering race could be different and will need to be changed to be %100 legal.

The sunroof tracks or something maybe? The panel can be covered/replaced (has to be, really), but I'm thinking the hardware has to be in place. I don't remember if reskinning the roof was legal or not. I'll dig around a little and see if I can find more specific information.

The way I read the rules is that the sunroof (all components) may be removed in their entirety and the hole must be plugged with the same material as the roof (i.e. if the roof is steel the plug must be steel).

The sunroof in my Integra was really 1 big piece anyway (plus 4 fasteners, 2 drain hoses, and electrical wiring).

Thanks for all of your help guys, I am really trying to find out as much information as I can. If I were interested in addressing this with someone to find out the exact legalities of it, whom would that be?

Your local SCCA region. I'd find that regional website, and then try to contact someone high up who could direct you to the proper authority.

Chief of Tech or Chief Scrutineer for the sanctioning body that you would like to run with (MC, SCCA, etc.).
