Hey guys Ive been looking for advice for either car and looking for either car aswell, Im in the east and was wondering if theres anyone with experience that could give me some tips on the cars, especially with Suspension, i fell inlove with both cars after seeing them in a car show, and looking through some old photographs from my dad when he was a kid, if you guys know if anyones selling an oldd 86 civic doesnt have to be si, or an 88-89 teggy hit me please? and if theres anything i should know about the ZC engine itself, problems or stupid errors that some engines may have. Im new to the forums, and its kina my first forum so please excuse my newb ness.

im up around binghamton ny, i found mine up here rust free car from down south, needs some work. its a 86 civic si. i paid 450 for it and its got 165k on it. just replaced headgasket and im puttin it back together, i know there are alot of guys in PA, i know one of them bought a CRX in binghamton and took it down there and restored it and its beautiful.

the first thing to realize is that not everything on the car was designed to be easy to take off and that japanese guys have way smaller hands

once you realize that just dive in and start messin things up, thats what i do

 

I have an 87 Si and love it and my next project is gona be a gen I teg.

 

i say an 89 teg that was my fist car and i fell in love with it.

 

go for the civic and swap the teg motor on it =]

 

well suspension wise they will ride the same cause there both torso bared cars and even tho the civic is older i csot more sometimes tegs are realy cheap and easy to find right now
