thats what i keep tellign him, but he makes bank and can afford them so im thinking to shut up and let him try them out just to see, cause i've never ridin or seen the Spoons in person
I plan to buy Tein HA when my current sussy setup needs replacing. Im using Spoon Progressive Springs on my DC5R and love them. Slight oversteer and pretty much eliminated the bodyroll. Nice drop also.
All in all Tein HA, if as good as on the DC2R would be excellent however the DC5R Tein HA is fairly expensive but I think it would be worth the money.

U won't know how good the SPOON(SHOWA)setup is until u tried one. I'm not sure if the N1 coilover setup is available for the market yet since my SPOON cataloge only shows the damper kit. But for further info u can always contact Ben(AJ PwR) at info@aj-racing.com or Mike @ IPS and Dave @ R&D Motorsports

ouch....
and as to the RUSTING , my teins do get grit and grime up in there, which is what is rusting, plus the top threaded part below the clicking adjusting **** rusts a lil bit
Besides SPOON, there is Buddy Club racing spec damper also. Which is height/stroke/stiffness adjustable.
A&J Racing have a set of ZEAL prototype coilovers in their showroom, but I'm not sure when will they put that into production.

Have you had any experience with a Spoon product before? How about Tein? If you don't have a clue of what you are talking about, don't say it.

I can't stress it enough people, Don't talk about a product if you have NO experience with it.
Well I have no experience with SPOON coilovers but I do have some prices to try and help you. At the moment there are 2 types of set up you can go with that are from spoon. Here are the set ups
1. Spoon Sports Damper Kit (coilover) =26oo.oo
2. Spoon Sports Damper Kit ( non adjustable)=1oo4.oo
These kits are not cheap, but maybe your friend should check out Skunk2, or ground control, or tein. All these brands are good, but then again spoon is know for thier lightness and duribility. But Spoon is mad money, if your friend wants them let him get them. Good luck, and I hope this helped.

Simply you pay whay you get for. Showa (Spoon , Mugen) are definitely the best bet but price is expensive.
I will suggest Buddyclub Racing Spec dampers.

OK, so what's your friend planning to do with this RSX? Coilovers might be more than you need if you aren't racing IMO. Then again, if your friend does make good money, then it's wide open. Go by colour if you want to. j/k
Anyways, all I know about Teins, Zeals, Mugens, Spoons and everything under the Japanese sun I've read in these forums. Personally, I'm using Spoon non-adjustable dampers and very happy with them. But that's just for daily driving fun and I would never have paid the brand new price for them (bought used). My two cents.

im trying to get him to do dc5 headlights
