UNSHAVE a carbon fiber trunk???????

Default UNSHAVE a carbon fiber trunk???????

im bout to buy this carbon fiber trunk, the thing is i think it doesn't look good with the trunk lights shaved off, my question is how would you go out and about to unshave it, can you do it your self or do you have to take it to a shop and do it? how much would it cost, if its too much i rath just got buy a brand new trunk.

i dont think it would be worth it... you may end up damaging the trunk, or rendering the strength of the trunk.

The only way to do something like that is to cut the trunk and fit the taillights in.

im sure you could do it yourself, i would try it, but befor you do so, try to sell it for what its worth and save for one that has the inner tail lights. i mean some one will want it.

i was thinking of just cutting it but if you do, wouldn't the carbon fiber rip and stuff? i have never look at a carbon fiber trunk shaved before up close, does it look excalty like a regular trunk in the inside?

could always just buy one with the lights in it instead of getting one that is shaved and cutting it up.

ya true, i was gonna trade some parts that i didint need to try and get a deal for this one, cuz a brand new one is like 500$ and thats kinda pricey for me right now in my life ><

Buy a new one or trading is definitely the best advice. Cutting yours will only make a hole for the light, how would you mount it? There wouldn't be a recess panel for the tail light to mount to like stock. Plus you'd have a bad cut edge on the carbon.
