Cracked open bleeder screw...yet the pedal is still super stiff..
I've had this happen on a few occasions and I'm not exactly sure what to make of it.
I'll crack open the bleeder (all the way, I'm not that big a dummy)
Then I'll step into the car, place my foot on the pedal, and push.
But instead of the usual sinking pedal accompanied by gushing break fluid, I'm met with resistance. Lots of resistance.
Anyone know why?

Is fluid coming out of the bleeder screw when you experience the stiff pedal? Do you have any trash in the bleeder fitting that could block fluid? Are you using the correct bleeder screw (possibly have one with a smaller hole for bleeding).
Fluid comes out, but not very much of it. I might have to check for blockages. I think I just plain removed the bleeder screw at one point to see if it was the problem as well.
I'll remove the lines to check for blockages.

there is a pin sized hole in the bleeder (obviously) that gets clogged with rust or whatever. You have to take the bleeder out and run some thin wire to clean out the hole
