Go to walmart. Super cheap oil. 5 Quarts of Castrol Syntec= 21.50+ Tax. They have Mobil1 and Syntec Edge too. Just pointing it out if people go to autozone or schucks to get their oil. haha
Previous car i had, a nissan se-r. I used to take it to walmart for the same reason. Cheap and come on how do you mess an oil change up right? Well you give and 18yr old kid a water hose and tell him to fill the radiator reservoir. instead he filled the engine with water. I just so happen to be standing there when it happened. I said. Um..... did you just put water in the engine? He didnt say anything and just walked over to his manager. They ended changing the oil 4 times that day and I had them write on the receipt what had happened. So if your going to to have it changed somewhere, i agree that its a good deal because you do get to pick your oil and filter. Just be careful because ANYONE can make a mistake no matter where you go. My lesson learned was to do everything myself from now on.
Ha.. wow. That reminds me of how dumb my brother's ex-girlfriend was. (er, probably still is)
She comes home one day, complaining that her car is running funny. He goes out to look at it and comes back a few minutes later with a "WTF?" look on his face. It turns out that earlier that day, she "thought her oil was low." - So she removed the oil cap and proceeded to pour quart after quart into her motor until she could see that it was full. Then drove around all day.

dayum! these posts are funny as ****. DO NOT take your car to walmart for an oil change or for any other kinda service. my friend took his cuz he decided to be lazy and not wanna change his own oil so he takes it there for the oil change and they forgot to put the cap back on. and he drives around for a while until it starts to smoke. so he pulls over and there is oil everywhere.

How about you read a little bit and then post. He's saying go to Wal Mart to buy your oil... not to get it worked on there... aka, hey go here because you will save some money on your purchase so when you're on your way home to do it your self you will have money left over to stop by Herfy's for a burger... just sayin'...
My grandma used to take her car to walmart to get her oil changed, understandable... We have a pneumatic lift at our house (my dads a mechanic by trade) and we were replacing her half shafts one day. While on the lift we noticed her drain plug was hanging on by a few threads and dripping oil. Checked her oil and it was 2 quarts low... I have done her oil changes ever since.
