Any s368r users?
Im changing my set up now, and have been trying to decide between the s368r and s372r. My old turbo didnt get spool untill like 7300rpm, which is to damn high for me, How are you guys liking the 68r? What are you guys seeing full spool on both? Probably .110 ar etc.... I like the faster spool that 68r is probably going to offer, but will it make the power i want? Any one been in the 9s with it?
Any imput would be appreciated!
thanks

it was boner bens hatch. i believe he used a s368 and than found out it was illegal for use in the old powerstreet class. So they switched to the 366xl. There was a thread about some tests joe did with the 368 vs the 42r.
i personally like everything about the s372r better. my car would make 50lbs of boost before 6500 rpm. when using these large turbo's, you need a good engine, good camshafts, good cylinder head, good exhaust manifold, good this that and the other to get it to work properly.
the 368 made over 800 horsepower, but didnt really seem to spool much different than the 372. i will say that the manifold set up on that car could have been improved, but we tried multiple other turbo's with the exact same set up.
if your concerned with spool, the s366 is much better than the s368. spool on the s368 and s372 is relatively similar, so go with the s372 and have more power on tap when you need it. if it doesnt spool the way you want it, buy a full-race divided manifold and send your cylinder head to Jim Stewart

The S368 is identicle to the S372 except for a smaller inducer on the compressor side. I dont think you will see any difference in lag between the two turbos so might as well go bigger unless you are held back by class turbo size limitations. Either turbo will have no problem making the power to go 9's.

With an S372 I could see 30psi by 5K(motor was very efficient)
I saw a solid 50lbs from the S366 that lead to my headgasket loss(wastegate issue, serious issue

I am working with the new S366 with the race cover and willpost up some results.
But trust tempest they know their BEP turbos

I don't know the turbo's too well...but correct me if I'm wrong they all use the same turbine wheel and compressor exducer size (372, 368 and 366xl)? IF the only difference is the inducer size you won't see much of a difference in spool. If thats the care might as well go 372.

Just got with the s372r..youll eventually want more power in the long run. lol

s372r ftw! I love mine! It is fully spooled by 6500 rpms even with my little .20 over 9.5:1 comp gsr, even have the stock ported head on it for right now with ctr cams!
you say on your old turbo was a dual bb with a .96 turbine why was your spool at 7300rpm?
or did you mean 6300rpm? because your looking to go bigger to a 1.10 a/r on a non bb turbo. but the s372 is the better choice. but good luck
