ok so when im driveing and i get on the gas the car start to puff out white smoke ..could this be be valve seal and if so any one have any links thanks

Ok so it the head gasket and not the seals that's good to know lol I never changed out the valve seals

 

Sounds like a head gasket. Do a compression test and see what number you et

 

Check your oil and see if it's milkshaked.
Also check in your radiator and see if there is oil floating on top of the water.

 

No water in the oil and no oil radiator

 

When you checked your oil for sludge , did you open your vavle cover and check or better drain to see it?

 

I look at the dip stick and removed the valve cover

 

Does it happen all the time or just in the early morning or when warming up??

 

When the car warmed up and if I diver its fine but ones I try go fast it starts to smoke and after we keep smoking as I'm driving

ok look i get in the car let it warm up then then when im driveing its cool but ones i go full throttle it starts to smoke and then after will keep smoke ..now mind u its not a lot of smoke like i cant see behind me or some thing ...and sorry the last post i did was from my blackberry lol

ok soo i removed the head and the head gasket was no good so i replaced it with a new one and replaced my water pump ...now the cars idie is way off and sound and is running bad and is still smokeing ...so my new ? is how to set the head and block at tdc i have done it on my ek before but on the ef there are no marks ?

 

there should be a mark on the cam gear and on the crank pulley...!!!

 

im doing this to my friends eg.. on the cam it has a mark that reads UP , set that to 12 o'clock thats your TDC...
