falken azenis??
i have 205/50/15 falken azenis. hopefully go to the track tomorrow. i was wondering if i could lower the tire pressure and heat them up or what else would help to make these tires stick a little better?

Drop the pressure a little bit but not too much, one night I got excited on mine and while the car ran the same times out the big end once I was back on the street on the way to fill them up I could tell I was too low as they wouldn't grip to save their lives lol
I'd start around 22 psi and play from there, but YOU will make the biggest difference on a street tire by far. Good luck!

i use to drop my old azenis down to 15psi, and launch at 6k rpm. dump the clutch, and feather the gas until you feel the tires grip, then mash it. another tip, avoid the water box. just do a TINY burnout after you get around the box to clean off any debris on the tires. you dont want to a big smokey burnout, because a regulare street tire has oils in it, and if you heat them up it releases these oils. making the tire hook even worse. just my experiences...
but, then again. this was on a stock b16.
