ive got a b20 in my eg. im tryin to hook up my o2 sensor to run a a/f gauge. there is no clip on the o2 sensor so i dont no where it hooks up. can i run wires off of the o2 into the clip that goes to the harness? what wires go to what? there is white green and i believe 2 black. or can i hook up the o2 sensor directly to the gauge? how do i power the o2 sensor?

is this a narrowband sensor... should have come with detailed instructions as to what wires to splice into.... if not good luck i cant help you there.

if its a wideband sensor it just plugs into the abck of the guage... then run power and ground

 

its the stock sensor i believe but there is no clip that goes to wherever it hooks up to. i ran a wire to the white wire from the gauge on the o2 sensor. there is a green and 2 black. how do iget power to the sensor? or can i splice into wherever it connects on the harness?

 

are you int he middle of a swap? sounds like your wiring harness isnt correct if thats the case....

 

ill take some pics. real quick. the swap has been in and runs but no o2 sensor is hooked up. one sec ill snap some pics

here is 2 plugs that i dont no what they go to but i believe they are my o2 sensor plugs. the one to the right had the other end in it but the wire are clipped.

ok thanks. do you know what the other one might be? its a b20 with no cat on it. just straight 2.5 exaust all the way back. maybe for a rear o2 sensor? or could that be the plug for my intake air temp sensor since my cel is throwing that code?

 

First, I would get a new o2 sensor which would come with the connection at the end...better than having to do wire cutting etc.

And look in the general area of where those two connections are loose (under the dist area, on the top of the tranny) and see if there's something without the wires connected.
