No. You don't use gear oil in your manual transmission. You use Manual Transmission Fluid (or 10w30 / 10w40 as a temporary replacement.)
A quick Search would have provided these answers. (hint)
is the process the same for automatic? i thought the fill hole is the hole for the transmission dip stick? i want to buy honda transmission fluid, how much do they sell it at the dealer?
No, it's not exactly the same, but very similar.
1. Bring the transmission up to operating temperature (the radiator fan comes on) by driving the vehicle.
2. Park the vehicle on level ground, and turn the engine off.
3. Remove the drain plug, and drain the automatic transmission fluid. (ATF)
4. Reinstall the drain plug with a new sealing washer. (do this if you have a manual transmission too)
5. Refill transmission with recommended fluid into dipstick hole to the upper mark on the dipstick. Always use Honda ATF-Z1 Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). Using non-Honda ATF can affect shift quality.
Fluid Capacity:
2.9 US Quarts (at changing)
5.9 US Quarts (at overhaul)
- You'll need to contact the dealer for prices. (or wait for a tech / employee to post it on here)
so for automatic, i won't have to unscrew the fill hole that is in the picture above? my fill hole is the dip stick hole, correct? just want to make thing straight
The automatic transmission doesn't have a "fill hole" on the side. The photo above is of a Manual Transmission.
Follow step number 5. as noted.
****, i can't get that drain hole nut off. its counter clockwise to get it off, right? any tip on how to get it off?
You don't need to be using air tools, torque wrenches, or an impact wrench. Just a regular ol' ratchet should suffice.
Consider using a cheater bar, if you've got room to use it. (cheater bar = a small length of pipe that you can slip over the ratchet handle for better leverage)

im using a cheater bar, still cant get it to loosen. i dont want to craw under to get better grip because im only using one jack and it the tiny one that came with the car.
