Neuspeed Race vs. H&R Race?
Yes, I did a search. Archive and Recent. Came up with some answers but not everything.
Basically most people said they like there Neuspeed Race Springs, but that they have a sagging problem (not what i want), but they also said that the springs rates are good because they are progressive so the ride isnt that harsh.
For the H&R's, i didnt find anything about sagging (good) but they did say that the ride got considerable harsher (is this a word?)
It will be for occasional auto-x and im going to mid-ohio for school sometime in the future and i dont wanna be riding on hhe stock suspension. This is my daily driver so i dont want too harsh of a ride.
Thanks for all your help.

You will definately need a camber kit with Neuspeed Race springs. They are VERY stiff. I put the stock springs back on after 3 months because I couldn't take it anymore. They work great for auto-xing but I still regret buying them for daily driving.
I can't say anything for the H&R's cuz i've never used them but i love my neuspeeds. As for the stiffness and the ride quality.. well it takes some getting used to. And u will definitely need a camber kit.. I'm actually waiting for my friend to come thru so i can get the skunk2 camber kit on my ride. But I love the drop and the feel. And i almost never scrape, u just have to get used to driving a lowered vehicle. hope that helps
I don't have H&R's on my car, but my friend has them on her S4 they are very high quality but as with any race springs you should expect the ride to be bumpy

H&R make neuspeed springs. Just FYI. I think Bilsteins are pretty tough too. You may want to consider coilovers if you are autocrossing and daily driving. I thnk race will be too low for daily driving.
Thank for all the replies. I think i am going to go with the Neuspeed Race Springs. For those of you that said i should get better shocks too, i wont put on these springs untill i get some Koni Yellows. For those of you that said i should get coilovers, i would love to but i just dont have the money. Thanks.

One more question. In one of the posts that i found while searching, the guy said that lowering the car too low would cause things to break. I think he said CV joint and something in the tranny. I dont see how lowering a car can make these break? Would lowering my car reduse the liftime of parts other than the shocks? Thanks
i loved my NEUSPEED RACE springs on my older car never had a problem with them. i dont egt it when you say it is too low because i still cut the bitches.
Good choice... i've had mine for a long time now and have had no problems except for premature, irregular tire wear(which can be fixed with a camber kit). But i think ultimately its all personal opinion. IF u get a chance... get a ride in one so u can get a feel for it.... that way u won't regret it later.
Hey krrrrrrzyrebel: Your car looks amazing. I have a quick question for you though. Did you get a camber kit? If so, which one did you get??
who cares, they r the only springs i would use on my race car. anytime u lower a honda, GET A CAMBER KIT. even the slightest drop usually whacks out the camber specs. if ur not a road racer every weekend, u will wear out ur tires. H&R and NEUSPEED rule.
I have H&R Race springs on my teg. They drop your car a lot and the ride can be a bitch. It's worth it though, because w/ my ST swaybars installed I handle like a maniac. People can complain about the ride all they want, it's not their car.
