Default 2002 Civic Alternator

I have a 2002 Civic EX. I've been through two factory alternators at this point. I'm looking at upgrading to a high performance Stinger Alternator. It is a 200 Amp output unit.

Now. I'm running an audio system that draws 110 Amps. I'm also running a Stinger Gel Cell battery.

The worry I have is blowing up the electrical system in the car. Granted, while the audio system is on, I have no chance of blowing the system, but when it's off I need to know what is going to happen.

Does the 02 Civic EX have a recommended peak Amp input without damage to the electrical system?

Thank you for any help anyone can provide.

Youll be fine.

Alt only puts out the amount drawn at the time...not constant.

I wouldnt get a Stinger alt, they are hella expensive.

Look up Mechman alts, they make great products...i got my 250amp for my Explorer for 399 shipped....does 175amp at idle too

Sweet! So I won't kill the car? That's sweet if that's the case. Is there a technical place I can check for the car in this issue?
Thanks again for the help! That's the best news I've heard all day!!!
