BBS RS wheels
Has anyone put BBS RS 16'' 5x114.3 wheels on a prelude 5th gen?
Has it been done before on a 5th gen???!! I've seen it done on 4th gens already.
anyone got pix?

I think +35 is what you need for offset. If the width is 7" 205/40 is best performance, 195/40 would stretch but tuck better, and give you less tire options I think.

Ive been toying with this idea for some time. I want to do 16x8 +25 or higher offset. I just need to get some extra hours at work and i will pick up a set. and also you can run a 205/45/16 and tuck those easy if you are looking for a 16x7.
IF there +35 they will fit but your not going to be able to lower your car unless you roll your fenders here is the wheel fitment guide for ludes

To answer your other question, pretty much every wheel manufactured to fit Hondas have been put onto a Prelude. You also have people putting on wheels that don't fit. So basically there's no wheel you can pick where you'll be the first.
a guy in preludepower.com is actually selling some bbs ryII that is coming out of his 5th gen. its not the same model (looks similar) of wheels but it looks pretty damn good on his car. check it out http://www.preludepower.com/forums/s...d.php?t=317473. he's running on a +35 offset and its staggered 17x8 and 17x9 on 205/40/17 tires and his car is lowered also. looks amazing if i say so myself
^ He just got spacers too.
I just got +25 offset 16x7's and will be using 205/45 tires. No spacers.
OP, do you want something that bolts right on and functions like stock wheels? Do you want to pick an offset and size that looks good and change your car/tires around your wheel choice (roll fenders, stretch tires, adjust camber by lowering)?
At least learn what wheel offset is, so you understand what you're getting into somewhat.

I don't care about staggered look. I just want these on my car. Just want to be able to bolt them on and go.
Im not in the budget to get stretched tires and spaced them out all flush to the fender and roll my fenders to get a perfect tuck or anything. I will try to learn and understand offset more. it's kinda confusing. Thanks for all the help and info. i really appreciate it. Is this a wheel where i can just bolt on and be able to run without having to get smaller tires?

you can use your stock tire size of 205/50/16. I only suggested 205/45 if you were trying to get a wider wheel and were looking to do the stretch look that is ever so popular now. I would suggest a 16x7 +35 offset or higher offset for you so you can just put on your stock tire size and not worry about rubbing or anything like that. just bolt and go.
Did you ever mention the offset? Is it a private seller or do you have a few to pick from?
Aim for a higher offset if you want to play it safe. +55 is stock, but the majority of BBS rims are lower than that, and the ones you posted are without a doubt.
95greenlude, you have a pretty high offset for BBS wheels right?
