Default problems with TEIN's or any other adjustable coilovers

My friend and I are running into problems with these adjustable coilover systems, in our case, TEIN's HR and HA. The plates got stuck, it would not come loose, no matter what we do. we tried to bang it with a screwdriver, nope, brought it to a body shop, nope.

GOT ANY IDEAS

Soak them up in WD40 or anti-seize? Try that and make sure you are turn them the right way.
