Default another projector question

I've spent the last hour or so reading threads about aftermarket ebay projectors. Now my question's are; is it just the ebay ones that are shitty or is is all the aftermarket projectors? I've seen the same "style" on other websites but it seems like people want to save a few bucks and buy ebay. There have been questions about upgrading to HID, Have anyone done this? Cut off? know one really has an answer or there pictures dont post and I think half the people that post a comment on a picture really dont know what they are talking about.

So here's the deal .. the headlights that you buy for Preludes are all aftermarket if they have those projectors installed. These projectors are of low quality and often times do not meet factory requirements. Also, these projector headlights are halogen based meaning that you do not get HID in them, just your stock regular bulb.
These headlights have a reputation of being sucky because they either leak water in because of poor seal, or they look hidious because of poor headlight design, or that the output is really terrible, can't see ****.

Even if yuo decide to stick with your factory headlights and just throw some HIDs in them, they will still suck. You know why .. ? ..because the 'HID kit' that you just threw in will burn out in 2-6 months, cause major glare onto oncoming traffic, and look really 'blue' which is really gay and ricey.

The only option left is for you to do a proper "HID Retrofit". What this means is that you take your headlights and you modify them so that in the end you have a projector, ballast, ignitor, all from an OEM car that came with HIDs. The projector is the most important part, this is where you should not cheap out on. s2000, TSX, FX-R, and RX are the more popular projectors, they have the more favored outputs and cut-offs. You will find what you like after more searching and research.

Search for HID Retrofit setups , the only proper setup that I will ever run .

Did them myself, it's the ONLY way to learn. After my car turned into a success, I did 3 more for family. HID-retrofit is a must.
