Default Need help-hesitation,backfire at 3200RPM

Alright, I need help quick I'll be going to school soon and starting work so no car equals no school or job.

Ok so last night I let my girlfriend drive and she went to shift without taking her foot off the gas. It hit rev limiter as she put it in 5th. Now, after that I got a smell something like a clutch burning and my car wouldnt go over 3200 RPM. So this morning I investigate a bit more and check the plugs and wires and everything seems good. Idle is good. My issue is, it feels like its hesitating when I give it gas, kinda like its hitting a wall and when it hits around the 3200RPM mark, it sputters real bad and WONT go passed that. Now it starts up fine and drives fine minus the hesitation but wont go over 3200RPM at all. I dont know whats going on? Im scared to drive it for fear of hurting other things. I checked timing and it looks correct. Any help would be great! For reference, its a 90 civic hatch with a B18B1 out of a 97 teg all still OBD0, YS1 tranny.

Don't think there is any other cause for the ECU going to limp mode, but you can try resetting your ECU.

How do I go about that? Does this happen when your ecu goes into limp mode? I've had this problem before in the winter time, but it fixed itself.

no Idea how to tell if the dizzy is ok or not. I mean it ran great until last night, so not sure. This "limp mode" thing happened while driving.

Also, I removed the ecu for about 20 minutes and put it back in. These are the only codes I'm throwing 4,6 and 15, when before I was throwing code 43 and two other I dont remember, but now its not throwing those codes but I didnt do anything to fix them. Im all lost. After searching all signs are pointing to the dizzy. Should I just go for that? Now my car car takes like 6 cranks before it will run and when it does run it runs horribly.
