Need help,

on a 95 civic i replaced the rear brakes , rotors , and calipers. took for a teat drive and it felt like the emer brake was on. i unhooked the emer brake and it is still looked up in the back.

 

which tire is locking up?

hydralically speaking...it is impossible for both your rears to lock up.

mechanically speaking...it is possible for both rears to lock up. so how tight are the wheels when you spin them?

 

right side is very tight very hard to spin, left side still is tight but able to spin.

 

adjust your right side piston farther out.. was it tight to install whwen you did install it?

from there make sure all your bolts are tight on the brackets. if they are loose the bracket can turn or pivot creating more force required to turn the wheel.. aka locking up feeling.

lube up your slides.

did you clean your rotor with brake clean? if gunk build up from the rotor is on the rotor...it can gunk up those pads and cxreate unnessary friction. take off your pads and lightly sand them down.. dotn put your greesy paws on the pads themselves.

when the wheel feels liek a lock up condition...unscrew the bleeder. if fluid squirts out (not drips) then you might have to replace your brake hose.
