Default dorman distributor?

Hey well its time to get a new dizzy for the civic i reckon and i was wondering if anyone on here is using a dorman distributor from vatozone? ive herd allot of talk about vatozone and advanced auto ones sucking and dying soon just wanted to check because the one at vatozone is like $239 and the one at honda is $582 O.o

so is there anyone on here using a dorman brand distributor and if so how long have you had it and any problems ?

(btw its for a mpfi obd0 civic with a d15b2)

Just do the right thing and get a Distributor King distributor for ~$160

Do you really need a new distributor, or just the ignition coil, or the ICM?

bearing is bad and causing the rotor to fall off ( glued the screw in and now the plastic part of the rotor separated its self from the metal part and is loose as hell) ... and its rather shitty looking inside as well (all the wires are cracked pretty dirty etc) so i figure ill just get a new one

i bought mine for 160 from my job (obd1 b16) and i carries lifetime warranty. havent had a problem for over 2yrs
