CSX front end conversion on FA5?
Didn't find anything on this thread, since there's like 2 pages in the whole 2006-present civic forum. Has anyone ever tried to convert their FA5 to Acura's UK CSX frontend to give it that type-r look? what kind of grill would be needed? And also has anyone ever converted their FG with a FA5 front end?
There's more than two pages in this forum. You need to change your preferences to load past pages. To answer your question, yes, it has been done several times. To convert the front you will need:
2x headlamps
2x fenders
1x front bumter
1x hood
1x grill
1x radiator shroud
Rear:
2x taillights (outer + inner)
1x Trunk lid
1x rear bumper.
Conversion kits can be found at kingmotorsports.com.

The FG to FA5 front end would probably involve more if it would even work. You'd still need the bumper, grill, headlights and fenders. But I think the hood is slightly different too. You also might need little things like the headlight mounts or inner fender wells from the FA5 because they might not be the same. Also, the fender shape might not be the same where it meets the triangle window/door. Remember the FA has a triangle window while the FG doesn't. You'd get it all on and the door might not line up with the fender. IMO a lot of work and money just to make a car look uglier.
