How to Mount amp on back seat?
it can be mounted to the rear seat, you'll just have to build some sort of frame cause I'm not too sure how strong the back of the seat would be, if you just made a wood/steel amp rack you should be ok
as for underneath a seat, yes, you can do it, althought it doesn't get much ventilation under there so it would get hot a bit faster...you seat would be warm though

you can build a nice rack or whatever enclosure you like on the back seat or you can just bust out your drill and drill/screw it on... I used security/1 way screws.. don't know if that will help any though since they'd already be in the car....
hmm as for mounting amps under the front seats.. I would NEVER do it again... also when you have rear passengers you worry about them either kicking your amp, or having wet feet that could short out the amp or something... there also MIGHT be ventilation issues but when I had mine there it didn't..
if you've searched the archives you've probably already read this.. if not.. let me tell you a little story... I was taking a girl home and she was drunk... she was awake at the time she got in the car and stupid me I let her keep her drink/hold it...
anyway I'm driving w/ the stereo on (1 amp under drivers seat, another amp under passenger seat)... after driving about 10 minutes or so so not only SPILLS her drink.. she hurls/throws up all over my car... I will NEVER mount an amp under the passenger seat and also NEVER take anyone that is really drunk in my car again because of this...
needless to say you can tell what happened to the amps... my NEW ones were moved to the back/behind rear seats....
