Default D4 Light, acceleration problems...

So I purchased my CB7 about 2-3 months ago with a shot motor. 2 cylinders are low on compression and the other 2 are on 180.

So I noticed the D4 light was always on and my gas and temp needles didnt work. I bought a new cluster because that one was broken where the gas/temp is.The D4 light went away right after that.

So about a month ago I was driving back to NY and noticed the car lacking power. If i were to be on a stop and give it gas all the way it would slowly pick up. This happens whenever it wants to. Yesterday it occurred and went away

So I changed the TCM from another accord with S drive and the D4 light blinks (im guessing because its not for mine, since I don't have S on it)

My question is, what could it be ? Could it be the transmission or the TCM ? I do know that I have to change my rear mount which sends signal to the TCM I believe. With the motor being shot since I first got it, the motor ran perfectly fine so Its not the motor since the car acts up whenever it wants. Any help is appreciated. Sorry for the story. Thanks !

I will be checking for codes this weekend when I go back to NJ !

The tcu has got to be the exaxt number for your car, they all look alike and will plug in but wont work correctly, id get the right tcu in it before doing anything then get the codes if you still have a problem , could be the tcu is shifting the transmission to safe mode which will place it in 3 rd gear and the drive 4 light or s light will either be on all the time or flash. difficult to say without more info

you, me, and a few thousand others have the same problem. When the tcu is in limp mode I think it takes off in 2nd and only shifts to 3rd. If you get a new tcu let us know if that fixes it. I have the same problem and am saving up to buy a new tcu or reman because I've tried two from the salvage yard that didn't work either. I might use this place http://store.allcomputerresources.com/honda.html
