Sub Box Behind Strut Bar EK
So, I drive a 96 EX and I have installed a rear (upper) strut bar, among others, and was wondering if anyone has found a box that fits between the seat and bar, if you have made a custom one (if so measurements would be great), or if I should go with a truck box.
As one will imagine I want to keep at least the trunk space behind my strut bar and it kind of prevents the sub from sliding around and things sliding into the sub, blah blah blah. Anyway I search google and HT, and couldn't find anything concrete, not to mention no one should be bitching about it anyway, it's a forum and we are here to waste time and learn. Cheers.

depending on how big the subwoofer is.
bestbuy used to carry a really small sub box from qlogic made to fit a 10" subwoofer, then again NOT ALL 10" subwoofers will fit.
it all depends on magnet size

Well, it depends on if someone has done a custom box before. I'm pretty sure a truck box will fit in the area but I haven't had the chance to listen to a shallow sub to see how it sounds but I am more of a ported guy myself. I don't have a sub yet so the possibilities are endless. thanks for the suggestion and I think I'll check out some of the local audio shops to see what they have, what it sounds like, or if they can build a custom. I would but I just don't have time yet, ha ha.
