ok so heres the story i just bought this car from a salvaged car auction as a project/dalily driver for college , everything was good till i disconnected the battery to reset the check engine light , when i put the battery terminal back on the alarm went off , and guess what the auction didnt give me the remote for the car , so i have no idea what to do because the car is just sitting in my driveway . i was wondering if i bought a remote could i program the remote to work or would i need the original remote to deactivate the alarm someone please help me i finished the body work and everything on the car now this happens please help me

And you aren't listing what brand of alarm or anything like that.

I can tell you the easiest thing would probably be to just completely uninstall the alarm unless it's the OEM.
