Default Plugs and wires ??'s fro 97 Accord V-Tec

I have a '97 Accord 2.2 v-tec with 108.000 on the clock.

It looks like EVERY PART is untouched and bone stock.
I want to change the plugs and wires for starters and i realize everyone has an opinion- as I noticed when I used the search feature of this site.

I will mainly run this car as a daily driver. I'm 40 years old and not a street racer nor am I a HP hound.. I do however get SEVERE bats of road rage and it shows in my driving (The main reason i drive 5-speeds!)

With that said I would like to hear your opinions on which plug/wire set I should install in my 'Cord.. I seen sets on Ebay that speed shops make themselves and sell along with with the different model NGK plugs.

Are these 10.2 MM plugs any good or are they overhyped B.S.?
Which NGk plug should I choose for the V-Tec?

At the end of the day I would like to get good gas mileage and good performance

Just perform a good tune up to it.

Seafoam it
Clean out the EGR ports
New oem plugs/wires
New filter
New fluids (engine/tranny)
etc

I have never had a "performance" plugs/wires and don't see conclusive evidence for them. Especially on an otherwise stock car.

x2

honda puts a pretty good ignition system on their engines. they also seemed to stick with NGK exclusively for the OE supplier. i always recommend NGK because of their high quality and factory fit.

(dang, that sounds like a commercial..! maybe i should get some endorsement $..haha)

Forgive my mechanical ignorance but what is "seafoam"?

Is this an engine degreaser?

More or less, it's a petroleum based product you feed into the engine and it eats up all the carbon deposits and makes a pretty smoke show from the muffler.
