Default Is it worth the time / $ ?

I've got a D16A6 with a Z6 head. I was gonna put a Y8 intake manifold and an LS throttle body on it if it would be worth the time and money to do. does anyone have any input on the idea?

from what people say, the y8 IM is worth it. but im not sure.

i dont think the ls TB will help anything.

i had a skunk2 manifold with a 68mm TB and all it did was make it louder. they were free, so i sold them and got a free stock IM

made some money

if you do get a y8 IM

make sure you get it from a manual tranny civic ex, as the auto doesnt have the right IACV mounting points

Y8, better low end. Z6, better top end. It's all in the length and sizes of the runners and the main chamber.

unless you're pulling more air, i don't think the TB will be worth the extra money, unless you have big plans for the interals. i'll resist the urge to preach about TB sizing...

i've seen dyno proof of the slight superiority of the Y8 manifold to the Z6. it wasn't by much but i guess every little bit counts.
