Need to paint my car
Some word of advice
"you get what you pay for"
I recently lost about $1700 because I was trying to get the cheapest price out there for a paintjob. Found some ******* on craigslist that turned out to be a joke. But I guess the joke is on me because he took off with my money.
But luckily I found an experience awesome painter and "body man" He can do any custom work with fiberglass and carbon fiber etc. They only work on show cars but they just recently opened their own shop in LA.
So he has been working on my car and I'm very happy with the results so far and I can tell from the quality of the other car in the shop that he has completed that he is a PRO.
I paid a bit more for the paintjob but its done right and no Headaches. I learned the hard way that peace of mind and quality work is priceless.
I'm going to his shop tomorrow morning if you wanna roll.

Well it depends on the condition of your car, the type of paint you want, whether you want every single piece of the car painted ( i mean like door jams and engine bay etc)
Let me give you an example of how much I paid
$1700 for painting entire car, door jams, door panels, doors removed to paint, bumpers and sideskirts were removed as well, fenders were also removed and painted separately
I paid $500 to get my bodykit and fenders installed and aligned (alisngment even better than factory)
$500 for paint and clear coat
But I am so happy and satisfied with the quality of their work that I dont even want to drive my car anymore lol
I know people that spend $7000 or $12000 on their paintjob
But these guys are reasonble and they (IMO) are one of the best in the biz...
lmk if you ever wanna roll onto their shop, I can PROBABLY go with you if Im not too busy
