Low Brake Pedal problems 4th gen vtec
The following items have been replaced: Master cylinder all 4 Calipers, brake lines. I had the same symptoms before all of those items were replaced. It seems that i have to push the pedal down really far for the brakes to engage. It's not leaking fluid and that is also new. Once i press the pedal down it has to be pressed down a lot to get the brake to engage and stop the car. If i let go all the way and than press the pedal very soon after i engage the brake it doesn't need to be pushed down nearly as far as before. The system was fully bled after the calipers were installed. Do i need to bleed more than once? The brake pads and rotors are only about a year old. Sorry for the long post just want all the symptoms to be listed for the best diagnosis.
I would try bleeding again just to be sure. Also, check to make sure everything is tight with your hard lines going into your MC. Was the MC new or refurb?
Mine is having a similar problem. After driving for a little bit, and coming to a stop at a red light, i can easialy push the brake pedal to the floor. It still brakes normally, its just the pedal continues to go down as Im stopped. Im thinking that there might still be some air in the lines. Mostly because the entire system was empty of any fluid.
I'm sure you know this already, but when you're bleeding, you are making sure to keep the MC filled right? More than likely its an issue with air in the lines or a small leak of some kind. I had a leak in the back of my MC that was shooting a small stream every time the pedal was pressed due to the pressure, but wouldn't leak otherwise.
It seems redundant, but you probably need to bleed the system more. Bleed and bleed and bleed at each wheel always keeping the MC full until you get no more air bubbles. And make sure you bleed the lines into a pool of fluid so air doesn't get sucked back up when the the pedal is let out each time.
If that doesn't do anything, there are adjustments for travel on the brake booster.

lol ya i keep the MC full, but i didnt have the hose running into a pool XD. Guess im gonna have to keep bleeding, after i get 4 new bleeder valves tho... I kno im not leaking fluid, so its gotta mean that there is still some air somewhere. Im banking on it being the right rear. I dont think i got to fully bleed it.
