1990 civic dx hatch, pretty gutted weighs 2062 without me in the car.
1000lb rear springs, skunk2 springs in front
24.5x8.5x13 M&H on bogart flystars
no cage yet
innovative mounts traction bar
STR solid engine mounts.
engine:
81mm stock block b18b1
tuner toys rods w. arp rod bolts
probe forged pistons
acl bearings
vtec oil pump, b16 water pump
b16 head
01 itr cams
arp headstuds
blox intake manifold w. obx 68mm throttle body
cable b16 Y1 trans with OEM LSD
ACT heavy duty pressure plate with 4 puck disc.
neptune'd p28 equipped with a demon board from jktuning
pte 880s
motorola 2.5 bar map sensor
255lph fuel pump
turbo setup:
drag cast manifold (next thing on the list to be upgraded)
holset h1c turbo
3" dp, 3" exhaust with dynomax 3" turbo muffler
custom wiertech intercooler
2.5" charge pipes
hks ssqv
with this turbo setup and a BONE STOCK b18b1 on crome and 14psi of boost the car was trapping 101-102mph in the 1/8th mile and pegging the limitter (7500rpm!!) for the last part of the track (b16 trans, 24.5s and stock ls head dont get along) best was a 11.75@114.75, shoulda shifted into 5th and see what happened.
also will be adressing the chassis to try to better my 60 foots (mid 1.7s are the norm)
looking to go 10.69 with this engine with a new turbo manifold, slight suspension mods, and a good tune.
here are some pics of the LS setup, the car, and the new ls vtec setup.


now with the new intercooler, and engine setup.


my valve cover has 2x -12an bungs welded on but im waiting for my catch can before i can install the lines.

how i learned to install spiro locks haha

def a 10 second setup, good luck with it, make sure you get enough seat time. What is your hp/tq? dyno graph. That turbo is good for tons of boost!
hasnt been dyno tuned yet. just my own street tune. ive got a good amount of seat time and im confident driving the car. i think i can do a little better tho.

new setup has not been ran yet. ive actually only got about 140 miles on the engine so far. been on about 10psi. should be hitting the track within the next month. had some plans to sell everything but just ended up deciding to keep it all.
good decision, i was in that same boat, and thought about how much time and money i actually had in the car and said f*** it, i would rather it sit there till i had more time and money to mess with it
got the new manifold on. had to redo my hot side intercooler piping, oil return, downpipe, and dump tube. also had to mod the bumper support for wastegate clearance. it was really hard not to make some crazy open downpipe exhaust out the hood or bumper or something... but then i remembered how i have 47 exhaust tickets since i rip around the street so hooked the 3" turboback exhaust on.
also installed my turbonetics wastegate and ditched the CDM one i was using.
car sounds a lot different with the new manifold compared to the old cast log. more raspy but not ricey. feels great on 13psi, top end is awesome. i still need to install my supertech valve springs and get another 1k rpm out of it (revving to 8k ATM).
i get my license back in exactly 14 days so i hope to be ripping up the track at 9krpm and 18-19psi of boost! pics of hoses all over.
had to ditch the vented valve cover since the -12 fittings were hitting the ramhorn... ouch
