theres a c clip holding the bearing on the counter shaft to the housing and it honestly looks physically impossible to get it off, it such a tight fit that i can barely get a pair of pliers down in it. i tried to google it nothing and i cant find that 4th gen service manual online so anyone who knows anything about it or has done it before halp would be awesome thanks

 

A Small pair of snapring pliers to spread the clip should do the trick.
